Responsibilities
- Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Clean, sterilize, set up, and assemble medical equipment
- Perform duties related to patient care, comfort, and room maintenance
- Serve meal trays, feed residents, and support hydration and comfort routines
- Take blood pressure, temperature, and pulse as directed
- Weigh, lift, turn, position, and transport residents safely
- Answer call signals and respond to resident needs
- Maintain inventory of supplies and support patient exercise routines
Requirements
- Secondary school completion
- At least 7 months of related experience
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Compassionate, patient, and caring nature
- Able to work well under pressure and adapt to changing situations
- Available for overnight night shifts, with a minimum commitment of 15 hours per week
- Able to handle weight up to 23 kg / 50 lbs
