Incentives for PSWs in Ontario


The Ontario government has introduced new stipend incentives to address the ongoing demand for PSWs.

  • $5,440: New students may receive up to $5,440 during clinical placements.
  • $10,000: recent graduates may receive $10,000 for a 12-month commitment to work in long-term care homes or home and community care.
  • $10,000: Graduates working in rural, remote, or northern areas may receive an additional $10,000 for relocation costs.

This program is certified by NACC, a national association representing 550 regulated career colleges across Canada, and is widely acknowledged both nationally and internationally.

Personal Support Worker Certifivate(NACC) Program

This program is in high demand and provides students with the practical and theoretical knowledge necessary to work in the field of personal support. With a practicum placement, students will gain hands-on experience and will be able to find employment opportunities in long-term care facilities, home care settings, retirement homes, nursing homes, supportive housing, group homes, adult day programs, hospitals, and educational facilities.
